We have taken care of all the details. You will be pampered and cared for; eat healthy, delicious food; enjoy gentle yoga sessions that invigorate your body; savor the sunsets over the bay; and be mesmerized by the sight of the heron, the eagle, and the osprey as they care for their young and spread their wings in the sky above you.

You will find many quiet spaces where you can wallow in the stillness of meditation and guided walks through the countryside. Lie in the hammock, swim in the Chesapeake, or take an afternoon nap in the shade - the possibilities to unwind and relax are boundless. Enjoy a shopping experience right at the Manor as we will bring in beautiful jewelry, scarves, shawls, skincare products, and exquisite candles to peruse. You may also venture into nearby Chestertown to shop and explore.

Create new dreams and intentions by making a vision board and string together your own custom mala to lie close to your heart. Learn techniques to nurture your mind, body, and energy system. Allow yourself to be guided through meditations and create sacred circles of connection and trust. Enjoy the mesmerizing flames of our own sacred fire ceremony and join us in our "morning pages" activity for journaling in the fresh pages of your new journal.

This is a journey back to yourself. Find the inner serenity and the tools to manifest your goals. In the evening slip into something comfortable and immerse yourself in complimentary skincare products, delicious masques, body butters, and fragrant hydrosols. Learn self-massage and reflexology techniques to soothe a headache or just to get back in touch with your own beautiful body. Giggle with us as we create a carefree and delightful evening of just being a woman.

We will encourage and inspire you to live more confidently, passionately, and creatively. We are confident that every one of us will leave the retreat with an open heart and a deepening capacity to trust and follow your heart's wisdom.

This nourishing retreat is held at the elegant manor house of the Great Oak Inn located on a ten acre, private estate right on the bank of the Chesapeake Bay. The luxurious rooms are double occupancy with king, queen, or twin beds, each with a private bathroom. The delicious meals are lovingly prepared and healthy, using fresh, in season, locally grown food. All activities are optional to allow you to go with your internal rhythms. There will be morning meditation walks, a yoga class each morning and afternoon, glorious sunset to savor, yoga nidra (guided meditations), and a trance dance to set free any worries or fears and release the old energy holding on to us.









Retreat Activities:

  • Friday: Join us at the Inn at 4 pm, and explore this gracious manor house. Nibble on delicious snacks, drink soothing tea and let the breeze wash over you. Get to know the other women, then join us in the gorgeous conservatory for an afternoon gentle yoga session to stretch out. This class is for all levels including beginners! Afterwards, lightly sponge off your face with the aromatic damp towels provided and then stroll outside to the bay for a spectacular sunset meditation. Enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared dinner in the beautiful dining room. We will end with Trance Dance, followed by dessert and a good night's sleep.
  • Saturday: We begin the day with, fruit, muffins, coffee or tea and a delightful morning walk. There are always opportunities to see the bald eagles soaring over the house around this time or to see the great heron nestled in the trees during our walk. A gentle yoga class follows, with plenty of time for journaling and coming together with the other women creating a sacred circle of connection and trust. Next, we will enjoy an amazing brunch, including Cassandra's famous crab quiche. Then there is time for you to do absolutely nothing or to go shopping. You may also opt to join us in the library for creating beautiful mala beads and vision boards. Later in the afternoon we will reconvene for another delightful yoga class with Liz, followed by some refreshments before another fabulous dinner. A quiet respite on the banks of the Chesapeake awaits as we search for a glorious sunset. Then the fun begins! Join us for a pajama party with facials, a new line of beauty and skin care products to experience, learn self massage & reflexology techniques, followed by pajama nidra, a tranquil, guided meditation. Perhaps the evening will end here, or you will chat in the library and out on the patio under the stars.
  • Sunday: Our last day begins with another meditation and silent walk on the beautiful grounds. A light breakfast of fruit, muffins, coffee or tea will sustain us before we head into our gentle yoga class. We will create more journaling and coming together in an authentic loving space, before we close our circle with a beautiful, final ceremony. Brunch will be served before we bid adieu and you make your way home. We will leave with gratitude, a deep sense of peace and joy, and new friends.
